By maintaining strong relationships with numerous outlets for advertising, General Media can better negotiate the terms and coverage most beneficial to its clients. After identifying the optimum demographic audience best suited to a company's needs, the appropriate media - broadcast, cable, print, direct mail - is determined for promoting the company's product or service. This includes advertising placement on top rated, large market radio stations and periodicals with large local and/or national circulation. The one service that General Media is particularly renowned for is the coordination of travel-based promotions. Ideally suited and adaptable to almost any business, large or small, a promotional vehicle is an efficient and cost-effective means for a company or organization to enhance its corporate image, increase consumer awareness and generate attendance for events. For example, a radio station is seeking to broaden its listenership by giving away a free vacation. A hotel would like to increase its occupancy levels but has strict ad budget constraints. An airline that services the area in which the hotel is located would like to fill more seats without inflating its ad costs as well. By uniting all these parties, their complimentary needs can be effectively served with little, and often no, monetary investment. Using that scenario, General Media has organized hundreds of successful promotions, conducted in conjunction with retail chain stores, shopping malls, multiplex movie theaters, syndicated game shows, entertainment complexes and radio stations, among others. The strong relationships that General Media maintains with its clients allows for great flexibility in negotiating for media exposure and prize destinations. Winners have been to various parts of the United States, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and Europe, courtesy of some of the world's most recognized and respected hotels, resorts and airlines.
Acquisition of promotional prize trips and corporate incentive vacations can be flexibly negotiated on any of the following terms, alone or in combination: MEDIA EXPOSURE: Incorporation of
the trip's sponsors within the client's advertising agenda, including media
schedules, direct mail pieces, signage, etc. Hotels and airlines can sponsor prizes for a negligible cash cost or none, depending on the total commitment of room nights or airline tickets bartered in exchange for advertising services.
